Went swing dancing with Chris yesterday. We were terrible. I'm going to watch Swing Kids and perfect my moves before the next class. SWING HEIL!!!! etc. I'm trying to get Chris to watch Swing Kids with me because it's one of my favourite movies ever, but he says if we're going to watch a Christian Bale movie, it might as well be Batman. Anyway, I liked the class. I feel like things like this attract slightly off-beat, easy going people. You have to switch partners regularly and there's that awkward intimacy of holding hands and putting your arm on the shoulder of somebody you don't know and then doing dance steps that involve kicking and twirling, which leads to a lot of giggling and apologizing.
Afterward we awesomely played video games until like 1am. He actually has Mario Bros 3 from original Nintendo on his computer. Mario Bros 3! Ohhhhh I wish I had it here now. I am itching to play it. We got the warp whistles and zoomed to world 8 but then we could not beat that final damn level even though I beat it so many times when I was twelve.
For brunch we had dim sum with the gang at The Great Wall. Ate way too much, predictably. I love these big group food gatherings. There were twelve of us and I met a couple new people, who I have invited to my breakfast-for-dinner party.
