It is like summer today so I went on a deliciously long walk on Spring Garden and then down Barrington and to the Farmer's Market and back. Had a steamed pork bun for lunch. Went into two bookstores. Had too much coffee. Read half a student story. Doing work in manageable chunks.

Wendy the Cat had one of her adventures this morning. Once in a while she gets brave and runs out my door and takes a stroll up and down my hallway. She meows very sweetly while doing this. Then she goes back into my apartment.

Speaking of adventures, today I stopped into Strange Adventures because I wanted to buy a Faith Erin Hicks book but they only had Zombies Calling. While I was there I found this biographical comic book about Gandhi:

I didn't buy it, but thought it was pretty cool.

They also had a rock near the door, presumably used to hold the door open. This rock was painted to look like a cat. I made a note to myself to find a rock and paint it to look like Wendy. Where does one find rocks nowadays, in our busy cities?
