Had lunch with a couple writer peeps at Mary's Place. Actually I had breakfast, because they have all-day breakfasts. It felt good talking to other writers, as lately I've been hanging out with all science types mostly.

It is raining terribly. My coat is "water-resistant" but I suppose not waterproof, because I felt water leaking down my back. Suppose I will wear a different coat this afternoon when I to go class. Wonder if anybody would notice if I put a plastic bag inside my hat to keep my hair dry.
